Now that we are aware of the important considerations, we can proceed with the steps to register a Facebook account. By following the prompts below, you should be able to register successfully in most cases!

Registration on Facebook Mobile App

Firstly, you need to install the Facebook app on your mobile device. If you have an iPhone, you can search and download it directly from the App Store. For Android phones, you can refer to the Android version’s downloading tutorial, which provides the latest version of the Facebook app for Android (“Facebook Android Download - Latest Version (Available APK)”). You can also download it from the Google Play Store.

After downloading and installing the app, open it. On the main screen, tap on “Create new account” to start the registration process.

I recommend using an email address, as there might be issues with receiving SMS verification codes using a phone number. You can try a phone number if you prefer.

After that, you’ll see the Verify your email address option. Go to your mailbox and you will see an email asking you to confirm your account. Click on the confirmation link.

This way, you can sign up for a Facebook account without entering the phone number and worrying about security issues.

After verification, create your password and select “Register”.

After a successful registration, the app will automatically log you in. You can authorize it to remember your password so that you don’t have to enter it every time you log in.

Remember to update your profile picture and adjust privacy settings, region, language, and other preferences. The settings are there to make your experience more convenient, and you can customize the content you want to see.

Registration on Facebook (Desktop)

Visit the official Facebook website (www.facebook.com).

Enter your name, email address (using a Gmail account is recommended), or phone number, password, date of birth, and gender. If the system prompts that your password is not secure enough, try adding more characters or uppercase letters.

Click on the “Sign Up” button to create your account (note that you must be at least 16 years old to perform this action, but it is safer to be over 18).

Finally, you need to verify the email address or phone number you provided earlier. An email with a verification code will be sent to your inbox, or you will receive an SMS with the code. Enter the received code in the verification box to confirm.

Once the verification is successful, your Facebook account will be registered, and you can start using it by logging in.
